Mission
We, the members of Students Demand Action at Bates College, to organize and act to combat gun violence and advocate for sensible gun laws, do hereby establish this constitution. Through political engagement such as lobby days, letter writing, and public advocacy initiatives, our mission is to end gun violence in the state of Maine and around the country and to secure a safer future for all.
