Monthly community event to bring together faculty, staff, and students who identify with the first-gen experience and advocate for current first-gen students at Bates. Grab dinner at Commons and join our group anytime between 4:30pm - 6:30pm in Commons 226 on the first Wednesday of each month.

Faculty and staff attendees (or anyone who otherwise cannot swipe for free into Commons) can mention First-Gen Friends at the Commons entrance to have your dinner paid for by the First-Gen Programs! Please reach out via email to firstgen@bates.edu with any questions.
Food Provided (Free entry to Commons for dinner, simply mention that you are joining First-Gen Friends for dinner.)
