Hello, and happy new year! My name is Rocky, and I’m the Campus Organizer for Dayenu: A Jewish Call to Climate Action. We are a spiritually rooted movement combatting the climate crisis with bold action and spiritual audacity.
Last week, we opened up applications for our first-ever spring fellowship for undergraduate AND graduate students. Fellows will be given a $300 stipend for the semester to attend weekly meetings and trainings, strengthen Dayenu’s national communication and organizing strategies, and cultivate community on their own campuses by hosting a passover seder!
We are hoping to find a cohort of folks who are already involved in organizing on campus and/or looking for ways to bridge the divide between Jewish and secular climate justice-oriented spaces in new and innovative ways. Our fellowship will help students to become more effective advocates for climate justice, bring Jewish wisdom and grounding to existing campaigns, and build a community rooted in our spiritual values that can mobilize for social justice.
While we are prioritizing candidates in NY, MA, and CA, we welcome applicants from across the country who are ready to kickstart their organizing in 2026. Applications close on February 9th, and we would appreciate your help in spreading this message with students in your network in the next couple weeks.
