Join this Peace Corps information session to learn more about the various program opportunities and the impact of service from the perspective of a current in-country Volunteer and Tufts alum, Taylor Lewis as well as Dorie Hagler, who previously served as a volunteer, and is now a Senior Recruiter with the Peace Corps.

Taylor Lewis is currently serving as a Community Economic Development Volunteer in Paraguay, where he partners with schools, cooperatives, and municipal leaders to expand financial literacy, youth entrepreneurship, and savings initiatives in his community. A Tufts graduate in Economics and International Relations, Taylor previously worked in economic consulting before joining the Peace Corps. He is passionate about community-driven development and supporting future volunteers as they explore service.

Dorie Hagler is a Senior Recruiter with the Peace Corps, where she has worked since 2022. She previously served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Guatemala from 1993–1995 in agroforestry. Hagler is a graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder, where she studied Political Science and Film. While in Guatemala, she used photography as a community education tool and later began a career in photojournalism focused on social justice. Her work has been published, exhibited, and collected locally, nationally, and internationally, reflecting a continued commitment to service through storytelling.

We encourage students interested in the session to review the various program details and deadlines on the Peace Corps website: Peace Corps - Peace Corps
