About Us

Bates College Republicans, a chapter of the Maine College Republicans and the College Republican National Committee (CRNC), is a political organization that promotes conservative values on the Bates campus and helps elect Republican candidates at the local, state and national levels of government. Club members host prominent speakers, engage in grassroots activism on behalf of Republican candidates, sponsor school-wide debates, and generally heighten political awareness at Bates. The club has a strong belief in the benefits of a strong two-party government and recognizes that every difference of opinion is not a difference of principle.
